Spare lithium-ion batteries and power banks
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)Spare lithium-ion batteries and power banks must be carried in the cabin, never in checked baggage. Batteries up to 100 Wh are permitted without airline approval; 101–160 Wh requires airline approval and is limited to two spares. Above 160 Wh is forbidden in passenger baggage.
